2. Use of Apple Technologies

Scan2IFC utilizes Apple-provided technologies to enable room scanning and 3D model generation, including:

• RoomPlan

• ARKit

• LiDAR Scanner (on supported devices)

• RealityKit

These technologies process scan data directly on your device. Scan2IFC does not receive, store, or transmit this data to external servers.

3. Permissions We Request

Camera Access

Scan2IFC requires access to your device’s camera to perform room scanning and create 3D room models.

Camera data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to us.

File Access

The app may request permission to save, export, or share generated IFC files using Apple’s standard file-sharing functionality.

4. Data Storage

All room scans, project information, and IFC exports are stored locally on your device unless you explicitly choose to save them to a cloud storage service or share them with another application.

We do not operate servers that receive or store your scan data.

5. Third-Party Services

Scan2IFC does not use:

• Advertising networks

• Analytics providers

• User tracking services

• Marketing SDKs

The app relies solely on Apple system frameworks required for its functionality.

6. Security

Because scan data remains on your device, you maintain full control over your information.

We implement reasonable measures to ensure that the application handles data securely and in accordance with Apple’s platform security standards.

7. Children’s Privacy

Scan2IFC is not directed toward children under the age of 13.

The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
